VMA contributes to the decarbonisation of the automobile industry

In May 2023, VMA concluded a policy with Credendo for the coverage of delivery and installation of equipment for a new electric vehicle assembly line.

The transaction, which includes the software and hardware design, electrical assembly and robot programming and the delivery and installation of electrical cabinets, is part of the EUR 460 million investment plan announced by Volkswagen AG (Germany) to create a production line for their new compact electric car (ID.3) at their Wolfsburg site.

Thanks to its broad expertise, VMA is involved in the project as a subcontractor for electrical distribution, conveyor automation, robot programming, traceability programming and virtual commissioning.

This project is an opportunity for VMA and its client to contribute to the decarbonisation of the transport industry.
