Credendo appoints new Country Manager for Germany for Credendo – Guarantees & Speciality Risks

Credendo is pleased to announce the appointment of Gernot Baumgartner as the new Country Manager for Germany of Credendo’s speciality subsidiary, Credendo – Guarantees & Speciality Risks, as of 1 January 2025.

Well-connected in the industry, Gernot will bring a wealth of technical and commercial knowledge to the role. He began his career at the Austrian branch of Credendo in 2011, where he worked in the Underwriting, Reinsurance and Finance departments.

Together with his team, Gernot will expand Credendo’s offer of speciality credit insurance, including excess of loss and top up, as well as surety solutions on the German market.
