Trade4U seminar on business opportunities in Kazakhstan
The Belgian Foreign Trade Agency (BFTA) will hold its Trade4U seminar on 'Business Opportunities in Kazakhstan' on Tuesday 10 September in Brussels. This event is organised with the support of Credendo and in close cooperation with Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), Wallonia Export & Investment Agency, hub.brussels and the FPS Foreign Affairs.
Kazakhstan is an appealing destination for exports and investments by Belgian and European countries as an alternative to Russia and China. The EU has signed a strategic agreement with Kazakhstan to deepen trade relationships, the first of its kind in Central Asia. Besides mining, healthcare, food and agriculture, renewable energy has become a top priority to the country.
HE Baimukhan Margulan, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Belgium, and HE Henri Vantieghem, Ambassador of Belgium to Kazakhstan, will be guest-speakers. Wim Bosman, Business Development Specialist at Credendo, and Aizhan Mussakanova, Trade Commissioner at AWEX, FIT and hub.brussels will give presentations on the opportunities in the country.
