Why join Credendo

Whether you are good at numbers, are passionate about international politics and trade, have an analytical mind, are a legal counsel, an economist, an IT professional or have a talent for languages, Credendo offers jobs and opportunities for various profiles. We respect each other regardless of position, language, gender, colour, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion or cultural background.

At Credendo, we work in small teams, yet we are part of a larger international organisation. By joining us, you will get to know professionals from different departments and countries. This is made possible thanks to daily interactions in your job, (foreign) missions and projects, staff events, team-building events and sports activities during lunch time.

You will also get the chance to grow and improve. Right from the start, a buddy and a mentor will be there for you to answer your questions and guide you. There will be frequent feedback moments and, of course, you will be able to talk more informally with your colleagues every day or get an explanation on the job. Moreover, you can also work from home, which helps to combine your work and private life more easily.

Personal development

Personal development

Your learning process will start on your very first day. Your manager, assisted by your buddy and mentor, will help you get settled in and support you throughout your journey at Credendo.

Your buddy will guide you during your first weeks or months at the company and help you integrate both on a professional and a social level. Your mentor on the other hand, will offer you job-related knowledge, skills and information to help you master your new role more quickly.

Moreover, Credendo supports a learning culture by offering learning and development possibilities. In addition to the prescribed training courses within the insurance industry and job-related training, you will have access to a range of training courses to develop your skills and expertise. Training is available in-company, through e-learnings, keynote speakers, external providers, etc. New managers are offered leadership training to acquire or deepen management skills and grow in their career.

Well-being

We are committed to enhancing mental health and well-being, as well as offering a learning environment to our employees. When working at the head office, ergonomic workstations, a cafeteria, a bicycle parking and much more are at your disposal. Employees who participate in sports have the possibility to shower at the office afterwards.

We also support internal mobility within our group. Our vacancies are open to everyone, both internally and externally. We stimulate lifelong learning and offer the possibility to follow diverse training courses to develop both technical and behavioural competencies. Various part-time schedules or extended-leave options (time credit, parental leave, leave without pay, etc.) are open to everybody. Furthermore, we offer a lot of flexibility in working hours, with extensive flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home for up to three days a week.

At our head office we promote a good social dialogue. We discuss social and well-being topics in the Works Council and the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work. Our well-being initiative called ‘Credendo Cares’ offers several programmes to strengthen mental resilience and physical health through various initiatives such as total body workout and yoga classes, first aid for mental health, a medical check-up for those aged over 45 and a yearly flu vaccination.

We have confidential counsellors within the company who are available in case you want to talk about psychosocial issues.

Finally, we also respect colleagues who are leaving the company. During the so-called offboarding process we apply the correct exit procedures. We organise exit interviews to learn about the reasons why colleagues decide to leave the company.

Our WORK environment

Our head office is centrally located in the Brussels European quarter. It is easily accessible by public transportation (train (Brussels Central, Brussels Luxembourg), metro (Troon/Trône), bus (Troon/Trône)) and by bicycle. When working at the office, employees have ergonomic workstations, coffee corners and a cafeteria at their disposal. Those who participate in sports have the possibility to shower at the office afterwards.

To accommodate the growing number of cyclists among our staff, we upgraded the number of bicycle spaces in our car park. We now have 38 designated parking spaces for bicycles, including 12 charging stations for electric bicycles.
