Credendo launches new service to support Belgian exporters

• This new service, Credendo Export Finance Solutions, supports exporters through an all-inclusive package to finance their export contracts

Against a backdrop of geopolitical instability, trade wars and heightened competition, the export finance landscape is becoming increasingly complex. Certain regions or emerging markets, for example, are more difficult to understand or pose more risks. This volatile environment makes financing backed by Credendo more attractive than ever for foreign buyers and, above all, represents a significant advantage for Belgian exporters of capital goods.

With this in mind, Credendo is launching a new service in early November: Credendo Export Finance Solutions.

Who is this service for?

This service is aimed at exporters of capital goods and related services that have a Belgian interest, and in particular small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). We know that getting the right advice and securing financing for export contracts is not always easy, especially for SMEs.

What is the aim of Credendo Export Finance Solutions?

Credendo Export Finance Solutions aims to support exporters by providing them with tailored advice, high-level credit structuring, and top-tier support during transactions and in the search for the ideal financial partner. Exporters who encounter difficulties in obtaining financing for their export contracts can also contact Credendo to obtain the necessary resources.

In practical terms, how does the process work?

We support our clients from start to finish. Together, we identify the most appropriate structure for their transaction, enabling them to find financing solutions and manage political and commercial risks. Credendo can cover the export contract up to 95% or 98%. Our offering extends further than just advisory services, however: we also participate in structuring to achieve the best results and seek out ways to optimise export transactions. To find the best financing options, we draw on our extensive network of financial institutions. Where necessary, Credendo can also provide the necessary resources. “This can be done through our direct financing solutions, such as forfaiting and Credendo buyer credit.
