Check our cover policies

In the cover policy module, you can

  • check our cover policy for every country in the world
  • download a document with the last two versions of the cover policy for a country

You can reach the ‘cover policy’ tab via the top navigation bar.

On the overview page you can find an overview of all the countries in the world and which countries are in scope of your policy. 

If our cover policy changes for a country in scope of your policy, you will be notified via email and directed to this page.

For each country in this list we clarify: 

  • if it is in scope of your policy, 
  • if cover is possible, 
  • and if a risk acceptance is active for this region.

You can easily find the country or information you need by using the filter icon.

For a more in-depth understanding, we use a classification from 3 perspectives:

  • Political risks and assimilated events,
  • Cross border business environment,    
  • And domestic business environment.

In the relevant column, you find the applicable classification.

The last column in this table mentions if there are any restrictions on the cover of a particular country.

You can find more detail on the restrictions in the detailed cover policy document of the relevant country.

In the detailed cover policy document for a country, you will find a thorough comparison between the previous and new situation of the cover policy.

It includes specific restrictions, such as:

  • The country risk classifications,
  • scope of insurance,
  • waiting period;
  • and many others.
